Empowering Families with ABA Therapy Services at our Fort Collins Clinic

Attain SLB provides specialized applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy services designed to address the unique needs of each child served in our Fort Collins, CO clinic. We offer individualized behavioral support in the context of 1:1 therapy as well as support to teach social and play skills with peers and siblings and group instruction in a center-based setting. Attain SLB offers tailored caregiver training and consultation services to fit the needs of each family served. Our clinic’s child-centered and supportive environment helps us ensure that families receive personalized care to foster growth and development in every setting. Telehealth

There are several benefits to HIPAA-compliant telehealth services as they relate to our ABA therapy. With telehealth, your family can access support without needing to come into our clinic. We are able to conduct ABA therapy services, supervision support, and caregiver training/collaboration sessions with appropriate cases via a telehealth model using video technology that maintains service quality.

In-Home Therapy- Coming Soon!

Home-based ABA therapy sessions provide a unique opportunity to teach many skills in the direct setting that they are used. Ease of caregiver and sibling participation in therapy is also an important benefit of home therapy services. Attain SLB is looking forward to expanding into home therapy services in the future to facilitate skills generalization and maintain important skills that are learned in the clinic and other settings. School/Community Supports

Our experienced team of clinicians and therapists can work closely with your child’s participating school or daycare provider to create effective programs based on ABA methodologies. We can collaborate with your child’s teachers and support staff to help your child make progress and ensure a comprehensive learning experience.

Caregiver Training/Collaboration

Effective caregiver trainings and collaborative meetings are essential to your child’s ability to generalize important skills learned in the clinic to the home setting. At our organization, we aim to support parents and caregivers by providing useful tools and strategies to address their child and family’s needs. We highly value input from caregivers and participation and feedback is vital to the success of our work. Our team of clinicians is dedicated to offering guidance and support to caregivers throughout the entire therapy process, including identifying goals for treatment, monitoring their progress at home, and even helping caregivers learn more about ABA or an autism diagnosis, etc.

Assessment

The initial assessment for ABA therapy services is a combination of interviews and questionnaires conducted with caregivers and relevant stakeholders as well as a period of direct interaction with a licensed clinician. We emphasize establishing trust and having fun during the initial assessment, and one of our biggest goals of the process is that your child leaves excited to return to therapy in the future!
The initial assessment is highly individualized and will likely involve several hours of in-depth assessment and multiple appointments with a clinician. Once the assessment is completed, a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will review the results of the assessment with you and will discuss the goals that your child will be working on as they get started in therapy. The list of goals that are initially added to work on in therapy is written up as a Treatment Plan by the BCBA and is used to track progress while your child is in services.
