What is Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)?

Applied Behavior Analysis is a scientific approach to understanding behavior and how behavior is affected by the environment. ABA uses principles to support learning, a few examples include; positive reinforcement, shaping and prompting. In this context “behavior” refers to actions and skills. It is what we can observe. “Environment” is anything that might change or be changed by one’s behavior.

Will my Child Benefit?

ABA therapy, endorsed by state and federal agencies, including the U.S. Surgeon General, is tailored to individual needs. Success depends on factors like age, health, and intensity of services, with programs ranging from 20-35 hours per week based on assessment.

What can I expect?

During the initial assessment, we conduct a thorough parent interview and observe your child to identify skills and areas of concern. Sessions will blend structured teaching with natural environment interactions tailored to your child's interests. Progress is closely monitored through daily data analysis, and parents receive guidance to support learning outside of sessions.

Does insurance cover ABA?
